Badger Training & Simulation has been established since 2002 during the acquisition of a small simulation company based out of Florida. It offers Fixed Base and Full Motion six Degree of Freedom (DoF) simulators for procedure and operational flight training.
Replica cabins and cockpits laid out in accordance with internal and external dimensions for procedure training. VFR/IFR operational aviator training with NVIS compatible avionics and instruments. Dynamic Active Loading flight controls for force feedback with rear projection 220 x 60 degree curved or hemispherical screen (low cost monitors option also available). All COTS simulation hardware and software. Instructor Operator Stations for position tracking, navigation interaction and insertion of emergency procedures and failure training with play back capability.
Customers and supported platforms include the US Army, Navy and Air Force, Lockheed Martin, SAIC. Honeywell, Aegis Systems, BAE Systems, General Electric and Garmin in support of the CH-47, AH-64, H-60, B-206, G650, ERJ-190 and F-35 aircraft as well as the Stryker and MRAP vehicles. The most recent project is for a full replica Enstrom 480B training helicopter FTD Level 5 simulator with the associated Computer Based Training (CBT) systems.
Our Computer Based Training (CBT), an “ebook” iOS application tool, provides an interactive description of every cockpit display, instruments, gauges and control panels and a Checklist option, etc with color graphics and touchscreen hyperlinks. A Virtual Maintenance Training system can be tailored to the specific customer requirement.
On-site/In-country installation and training are provided and support includes complete logistics package with on-line diagnostics.
Turn-key training facilities, including for aggressor aircraft, with simulation, classroom instructions and flight training can be developed around the specific customer platforms.
